Arrital Kitchens
Contemporary Italian StylE
Arrital kitchens offer a refined approach to contemporary Italian design: architectural, flexible and highly personal.
Designed by Hobson’s Choice, an Arrital kitchen is shaped around your home, your lifestyle and the way you want the space to feel. From calm, light-filled family kitchens to richer, more atmospheric interiors, the collection gives our designers the freedom to create a kitchen that feels considered, practical and beautifully integrated.
Every Arrital kitchen begins with a conversation.
Italian Style & Client Courtesy
Arrital is a highly flexible Italian kitchen collection, suited to renovation projects, contemporary new builds, open-plan living spaces and whole-home interior schemes.
Rather than asking clients to choose from one fixed range, we use Arrital as a design palette. Elements from different Arrital systems can be brought together where appropriate, allowing our designers to create kitchens that respond to the architecture of the room, the character of the home and the way the space will be used.
This means an Arrital kitchen can be understated and calm, light and architectural, richly layered through materials, or bold and expressive with darker finishes and stronger contrasts.
A Broad Palette to Choose From
For clients, the benefit is choice without unnecessary complexity. You do not need to understand every individual range, option or technical detail before beginning.
Our role is to guide the possibilities, edit the choices and develop a kitchen that feels right for the home.
Arrital kitchens by Hobson’s Choice typically start from around £45,000, depending on the size of the room, furniture specification, appliances, work surfaces and wider project requirements.
The Hobson's Choice Difference
The success of a kitchen is rarely decided by the furniture alone.
It is decided by the quality of the planning, the accuracy of the technical information, the way services are coordinated, the care taken during installation and the accountability of the team responsible.
That is where Hobson’s Choice adds value.
Why Choose Arrital Through Hobson’s Choice?

aftercare standards
For clients, this means Arrital can offer a more flexible investment route into contemporary Italian kitchen design, while still benefiting from the design and installation discipline expected from Hobson’s Choice.
A Refined Kitchen Design Process
Every Arrital kitchen is approached with the same seriousness we bring to all our kitchen projects. The layout is refined carefully. Materials are selected with purpose. Appliances, extraction, lighting and services are considered early. Installation is planned before work begins.
Our designers work closely with our Operations Team, so the kitchen is not simply designed in the studio and then handed over to site. Mechanical and electrical requirements, appliance positions, access, delivery, protection and fitting details are all considered as part of one joined-up process.
This protects the design intent and gives clients confidence that the finished kitchen will not only look considered, but also work correctly in daily life.
With Hobson’s Choice, your Arrital kitchen benefits from:
Specialist design consultation
Detailed technical planning
Mechanical and electrical coordination
Appliance and extraction planning
Delivery and installation scheduling
Experienced installation management
Home protection during installation
Aftercare and long-term support
Designed from the Collection, Not Confined to a Range
Arrital’s strength lies in the way its kitchen systems can be used together.
In our design studios, we show Arrital in blended compositions. Displays may combine elements from AK_Project with AK_07, Nautila or AK_04, depending on the design intention, material palette and practical requirements of the kitchen.
This reflects the way we design for clients. We are less interested in presenting Arrital as a set of separate ranges and more interested in what the collection allows us to achieve.
A kitchen may need tall architectural storage, open display elements, concealed working zones, handleless cabinetry, refined surface materials, or a more sculptural island composition. Arrital gives our designers the flexibility to bring those elements together in a way that feels coherent, rather than forcing the project into a single predefined style.
The result is a kitchen designed around the home, not simply selected from a brochure.
Light, Dark or Somewhere Between
Arrital is often shown in dramatic, architectural settings, with darker finishes, strong contrasts and expressive material combinations. That can be a beautiful direction, but it is not the only one.
The same collection can be used to create kitchens that feel light, calm and open. Softer tones, pale surfaces, warm woods, glass, ceramic, metallic accents and carefully considered lighting can all be used to create a more relaxed and airy atmosphere.
For some homes, the right answer may be a bright, understated kitchen with subtle material variation. For others, it may be a richer, more atmospheric space using darker finishes, glass, metal detailing or a strong island composition.
Our designers help clients find the right balance.
Clients choose Arrital for different reasons.
Sometimes it is the right design language for the home. Sometimes it offers the material choice, flexibility or visual character they want. Sometimes it allows the kitchen to connect more naturally with the wider interior scheme.
What matters is that the kitchen is designed properly.
A successful kitchen is not created by selecting attractive finishes and placing appliances into cabinets. It comes from understanding how the space needs to work.
Our designers consider these details together, so the finished kitchen feels natural to use as well as beautiful to look at.
An Arrital kitchen from Hobson’s Choice is not treated as a lesser project or a simplified version of something else. It is designed as the right kitchen for the right home.
A Kitchen That Connects with the Home
Many high-value homes now require the kitchen to do more than provide storage and appliances.
It may need to support family life, entertaining, informal dining, working from home, and the visual flow between kitchen, dining and living areas.
Arrital is well-suited to this broader role. Its architectural elements can be used to conceal, reveal, divide and connect.
Concealed systems can hide practical working areas when they are not in use. Glass elements and open structures can create a lighter relationship between spaces. Islands and snack counters can be designed as social points within the room, rather than simply as additional worktop space.
This gives our designers the opportunity to create kitchens that feel integrated into the home, not simply installed within it.
Materials, Finishes and Detail
One of Arrital’s strengths is the breadth of material and finish choice available.
The collection can be specified across a wide range of surfaces and textures, allowing each project to take on its own character. Wood, lacquered finishes, glass, ceramic, metal effects, technical surfaces and tactile details can all be considered as part of the design.
Material choice affects far more than the appearance of the kitchen. It influences how the room feels to use, how surfaces respond to daily life, how the kitchen sits within the wider interior, and how well the design will continue to serve the home over time.
How we Develop Your Arrital Kitchen
INITIAL CONSULTATION
We discuss your home, your plans, your lifestyle, your timescale and the role the kitchen needs to play within the wider project.
This is where we begin to understand what the kitchen needs to achieve: how it should function, how it should feel, and how it should relate to the rest of the home.
DESIGN & SPECIFICATION
We develop the layout, materials, appliances, storage, lighting considerations and technical requirements in detail, drawing from the Arrital collection to suit the project.
This stage is not simply about choosing finishes. It is about resolving the kitchen as a working space, a social space and a considered part of the wider interior.
TECHNICAL COORDINATION
Before order and installation, we consider services, extraction, appliance positions, access, delivery, protection and any information required by your contractor or wider project team.
Resolving these details early helps protect the design intent and reduce uncertainty once work begins on site.
INSTALL & HANDOVER
Your kitchen is installed with the same care and control we apply across our kitchen projects.
Our installation team works with accuracy and respect for your home, with final checks before handover and ongoing support afterwards.
Working with Architects, Interior Designers and Project Teams
Many Arrital kitchens form part of a wider renovation, new-build or interior design project.
We are comfortable joining the process early, reviewing drawings, discussing the kitchen’s role within the home and helping to resolve the practical details that affect the finished result.
Our team can support layout development, appliance planning, services coordination, material specification, installation requirements and project sequencing.
This is particularly valuable when the kitchen needs to sit comfortably within a larger interior scheme. Our role is to protect the design intent, reduce uncertainty and ensure the kitchen is properly prepared before it reaches site.
Whether you are working with an architect, interior designer, contractor or project manager, Hobson’s Choice can help coordinate the kitchen as part of the wider project.
Experience Arrital with Hobson’s Choice
The best way to understand Arrital is to see the materials, finishes and details in person.
Our Swindon and Winchester studios include Arrital displays that show how different elements of the collection can be brought together. These displays are designed to help clients understand the flexibility of the furniture, the range of possible aesthetics and the level of detail involved in a Hobson’s Choice kitchen.
A studio visit also gives you the opportunity to discuss your project with one of our designers, review drawings, explore material directions and understand how Arrital could work within your home.
