How can bulthaup b3 storage be adapted to you?
The bulthaup b3 kitchen system enables us to design storage around what you need to keep, where you want it positioned and how often you use it.
Whether you prefer to keep everyday items out of sight or display selected objects, the b3 system can accommodate both approaches.
During the design process, your designer will discuss how you use the kitchen, what you need to store and which items you want close to hand. This may include food, utensils, cutlery, crockery, recipe books and decorative objects.
Function boxes
Function boxes provide storage for frequently used kitchen items directly behind the worktop, keeping utensils, knives, chopping boards and other essentials within easy reach while leaving the main preparation surface clear.
The function boxes are a tidy and convenient way to keep work surfaces clear whilst keeping essentials close to hand.
Pocket Doors
Pocket doors allow a working area or storage zone to be completely concealed when it is not in use. When opened, the doors slide back into the cabinetry rather than projecting into the room.
The interior pocket door surfaces can be finished in one of four options: oak or walnut veneer, or kaolin or grey laminate.

Can pocket doors conceal appliances?
Pocket-door storage can be used to conceal selected small appliances and preparation areas, depending on the layout, ventilation and electrical requirements.
Roller Shutter
Shutter doors are useful where you want to conceal a worktop or small-appliance zone without requiring the side space needed for pocket doors. The shutter lifts vertically, allowing the storage area to be opened while keeping the surrounding cabinetry compact.
The sections of the roller can be finished in either aluminium or various laminate colours. The former highlights the garage as a focal point, whereas the latter can be tailored to match adjacent surfaces and become one with the cabinetry.
Drawer storage and internal organisation
The b3 drawer system can be configured around the items you store, from cutlery and cooking utensils to spices, pans and larger kitchen equipment. Internal organisation helps keep frequently used items visible and easy to reach.
By simply sliding the glass, plastic, or metal dividers along the V-shaped drawer inserts, you can position items exactly where you want them.
Additional accessories, shaped to fit neatly between the ridges of the Prism system, include knife blocks, spice jars and foil-roll holders.
Can these storage options be combined in one kitchen?
A b3 kitchen can combine different storage types within the same design, depending on the layout and how the room will be used.
Do pocket and shutter doors affect the kitchen layout?
