The collection ranges from configurable media walls to floor-to-ceiling glass display systems. Some pieces are designed as part of the architecture of a room, while others offer greater freedom over their position and configuration.
Media Wall
Abacus Living
Abacus Living is a configurable wall system combining lacquered-glass back panels with shelving, display cases and enclosed storage. Components can be arranged around a television or used to create a dedicated display and storage wall within a living space.
Glass shelves, drawers and sliding or flap-door cabinets can be selected and positioned according to what you want to store, display and conceal.
- Best suited to: living rooms where media, display and concealed storage need to be brought together within one composition.

Display Storage
Cover
Cover is a floor-to-ceiling storage system that can be configured with glass fronts to create enclosed display storage. Its dimensions, internal arrangement and finishes are specified to suit the room and the objects being stored.
- Best suited to: rooms where storage can run from floor to ceiling and form part of the architecture.
- Configuration: dimensions, internal storage and finishes are determined for the project.
- Planning: accurate measurement and design are required because the system relates directly to the surrounding room.
Display Storage
Cover Freestanding
Cover Freestanding uses the same glass-fronted storage concept as Cover but adds finished side and back panels, allowing the system to stand independently within the room. It can be configured as a linear arrangement or used to form a corner composition.
Unlike Cover, it does not rely on the surrounding walls to visually complete the composition.
- Best suited to: open-plan rooms or layouts where storage needs to sit away from a continuous wall.
- Difference from Cover: finished side and rear panels allow the composition to work as freestanding furniture.
- Planning: size, arrangement, internal storage and finishes are configured for the space.
Display Cabinet
Aliante
Aliante is a freestanding glass display cabinet designed for storing and presenting objects within a living or dining space. Finished on all sides, it can be positioned against a wall or used more independently within the room.
Its slim aluminium frame, reflective glass doors and integrated lighting keep the structure visually light, while internal glass shelves and drawer storage provide space for objects that you may want to display as well as those you prefer to keep out of sight.
- Best suited to: living and dining spaces where display furniture needs to work as an individual piece rather than a fitted wall system.
- Positioning: the finished back allows Aliante to sit against a wall or more freely within the room.
- Specification: frame, glass, shelving, drawer and surface finishes can be selected from the available Rimadesio options.
Display Storage
Alambra
Alambra is a modular collection of display and storage furniture that includes sideboards, glass-fronted cabinets and drawer units. Its slim aluminium structure and glass surfaces give the furniture a visually light appearance, while enclosed storage allows everyday items to be kept out of view.
Different sizes, internal arrangements and finishes can be specified to suit the room, with options including glass shelving, timber elements and integrated LED lighting.
- Best suited to: living and dining spaces where you want an individual piece of furniture for display and concealed storage, rather than a full fitted wall system.
- Configuration: Alambra is available in different cabinet formats, dimensions and material combinations, allowing the piece to be selected around what needs to be stored or displayed.
- Distinctive feature: the fine aluminium framework, glass-fronted construction and integrated lighting give the collection its characteristic display-cabinet appearance.
Which Rimadesio display system is right for your room?
The collection includes both architectural systems and individual pieces of furniture. Abacus Living creates a wall-based composition combining media, display and storage, while Cover provides floor-to-ceiling enclosed storage designed around the room. Cover Freestanding offers similar storage with greater flexibility over where the composition can be positioned.
For a more furniture-led solution, Aliante is a freestanding glass display cabinet that can sit against a wall or more independently within the room. Alambra offers a broader family of sideboards, display cabinets and storage units, with different formats available according to what you want to store, conceal or display.
Can Rimadesio display furniture be purchased individually?
Some pieces in the collection can be specified as individual items, while fitted systems such as Cover require measurement, design and installation planning. If you are interested in a particular product, we can first establish the room dimensions, intended use and level of design support required.
What affects the price?
The cost depends on the dimensions of the composition, the number and type of storage elements, glass and aluminium finishes, internal accessories and the amount of installation work required. A fitted floor-to-ceiling system will therefore be priced differently from an individual display cabinet.
