the brief

Having previously experienced owning a bulthaup kitchen, our clients knew its minimalist elegance would perfectly complement their new Baufritz home.

The properties’ clean lines and functional design, hallmarks of German efficiency, extend seamlessly into the kitchen. Lush greenery peeks in from every window, creating the restful ambience our clients so desired.

The Design

A Sociable Island Focal Point

The centrepiece island boasts a striking 4-metre-long, 10mm-thick stainless-steel countertop, specially crafted by bulthaup as a single continuous piece and accentuated by matching side panels.

A bank of ovens, including a convenient steam microwave combi, sits nestled within the tall cabinet, which also houses a spacious fridge and a hidden pocket door for small appliances, ensuring uncluttered work surfaces.

The colour palette, mirroring the home’s exterior, remains refreshingly restrained. The kitchen furniture combines stainless steel and anthracite laminate, beautifully complemented by bespoke oak open shelving and door handles.

The Design

Supporting Spaces

The main bulthaup b3 kitchen space is adjoined to a discreet scullery. The second area increases the kitchen’s available functionality by adding storage, housing secondary appliances, and an additional sink. The ‘split space‘keeps the integrated living area clutter-free, even during the most spirited gatherings.

Downstairs, the equally tranquil utility room features sandy-grey kitchen cabinetry and enjoys direct access to the garden. Tall storage units flank the washer-dryer stack, offering handy laundry baskets, while a spacious sink awaits muddy paws returning from woodland adventures.
